Yellow Bird Project created this excellent t-shirt in memory of Jay. Drawn in detail using black pen on A2 paper, this design depicts a Gibson Flying V; one of Jay’s trademark guitars. The brand name has been taken off the headstock and replaced with the intials ‘JR’.
Jay’s father chose to designate the profits from this shirt to the St. Jude’s Research Hospital.

This was the 1st release from Memphis’ great LOST SOUNDS, with core members Jay Reatard, Alicja Trout, and Rich Crook. Here they’re joined on bass by the mysterious “Steven,” never to be heard from again. Four blasts of primal electro punk, remastered from the original cassette.
Originally released on the Italian label Solid Sex Lovie Doll, notorious for their flimsy, lo-fi aesthetic and ridiculous limited editions. This was their first release and we salute the label and their fearless leader, Fredrico Zanutto, who trekked all the way to Memphis for Gonerfest 1 and released records of many of the finest bands in the world in tiny, unobtainable editions.

Jay’s harsh electro punk project “Terror Visions” has just seen a reissue of their only full length record “World of Shit”, This remastered 180 gram LP collects the entire recorded history of the band including a few previously unreleased tracks. Jay Reatard’s first full-length LP Teenage Hate, first released in 1998, is set for a deluxe reissue on May 31 on Goner Records. This Jay Reatard posthumous double album will include early tracks (Fuck Elvis Here’s the Reatards) recorded by Jay on 4-track and only previously released on cassette. Some songs feature Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound, Oblivians) on drums. The double album features Reatards covers of Fear, The Dead Boys, Lil Bunnies, Buddy Holly, Johnny Vomit & The Dry Heaves, and The Beatles. Teenage Hate/Fuck Elvis Here’s the Reatards offers a glimpse into the punk energy and rapidly developing raw talent of a teenage Jay Reatard.

The final pieces of the Jay Reatard Shattered Club are in manufacture and will be ready to be shipped in 2-4 weeks.
We had promised an original 7″ exclusively for Shattered Club members. Two days before Jay passed away he recorded two songs at home: “You Get No Love” and “I Am Growing.” They were to be his final recordings. They have never been heard before now. We have pressed these songs onto a 7″ and it will be available only to you. It will not be for sale in any shops, not given to blogs for free download, and will not available digitally. Inside the 7″ you’ll find a personal note written by Jeffrey Novak.
We had promised a live 7″ exclusively for Shattered Club members. Instead we are sending you a full live album from an incredible set at the Golden Plains Festival in Australia in 2008. This is a full-length 14-song LP, again only for Shattered Club members.
