Following a nasty altercation with a security guard whilst he was onstage Jay Reatard stormed over and without uttering a word produced this painting, and wll, a picture is worth a thousand words.

The ‘Paint Like No One’s Watching’ project was conceived to raise awareness for the Australian Children’s Music Foundation, who implement music programs and provide instruments and teachers to disadvantaged and indigenous children and youth in schools and juvenile detention centres across Australia.
